Lagan College is situated on a forty-two-acre site leased from the National Trust, opening its first temporary buildings in September 1987.

Heritage Lottery Fund
In 2017, Lagan College unveiled the first part of their Heritage Lottery Fund (NI) archive project which is situated around the school, containing key dates and information from the 1970s to the present day.

Unicef
Lagan College support UNICEF through charity and non-uniform days. UNICEF provides more children with clean water, life-saving food and vaccines, education and protection from violence than any other humanitarian organisation.
